Midwest Electric Transformer Services has been a leading partner to the utility and industrial electrical markets since 1981. We specialize in finding affordable, fast, and simple solutions for the sale, repair, and recycling of oil-filled electrical equipment. MITCH SWEIGART
CEO
Mitch has been around the industrial electrical world from a young age growing up working in a family-owned electrical contracting business. After 10 years working in the family business and finishing school, the time was right to explore new opportunities in the electrical world. Since then he has spent the last 15 years in the oil-filled transformer business in various sales, business development, and operation roles. Outside of work Mitch enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, watching sports, and outdoor projects.
REED HAMMOND
VP of Sales
Reed has been working in transformer sales for over 10 years. In that time he has developed a wide range of contacts and knowledge of electrical systems across the United States. With those experiences Reed has a great understanding of how to determine customer needs in order to find solutions that work. In his time away from work Reed enjoys golf, Chiefs football, and spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
In 2023 Midwest Transformer and A-Line EDS/ALINE TDS developed a formal partnership to strengthen our collective impact within the industry. This relationship allows both organizations to offer a comprehensive sale, repair, and recycling suite of services to utility and industrial customers nationwide. A-Line is the nation’s premier electrical recycling organization with facilities in Waterloo, IA and Tonkawa, OK.
